We were slightly surprised to hear on the radio recently that Lloyds TSB bank have been voted the best bank in the UK for the sixth year in a row!
Wasn’t it the case that not long ago we (taxpayers) bailed out the cronies running Lloyds TSB, along with HBOS and The Royal Bank of Scotland to the tune of £37bn. Staggering really, you run your bank into the ground with unrivalled profligacy then get voted ‘best bank’, work that one out?
Lloyds TSB actually have the temerity to advertise the fact – yes I heard the story of being voted best bank for the sixth year in a row in a Lloyds TSB radio commercial!!! Genius guys.
